Reclaimed structures are an important part of our past here at Primitive. We have located, dismantled and re-built many 19th century log structures over the years. During those years we have acquired a broad knowledge of pioneer construction practices, allowing us to use these bits and pieces in the restoring and replicating process. We are not able to meet all of our customer's needs at all times because of fluctuation of our reclaimed inventory, but would gladly visit with you to discuss your needs for a reclaimed structure and work to find an appropriate building of good quality. Most of our log structures are hardwood and have either dove tail or V-notch corners, with 1 1/2 stories in height being most common.

In our eagerness to keep our customers satisfied, we have created a very impressive 19th century hewn log cabin replica line, the obvious choice for so many reasons.
